At Simcoach Games, we’re excited to share that our groundbreaking work in gamification and the integration of evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) practices has been showcased at two prestigious national conferences: the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) Conference and the BATCAGE Conference.
Joint Presentation with StepOne at the ABAI Conference
In collaboration with StepOne Neurodiversity Services, we jointly presented at the ABAI Conference, a leading event that gathers professionals and researchers in the field of behavior analysis from around the world. Our proposal underwent a rigorous review process and was accepted by industry experts, highlighting the significance of our innovative approach.
During our presentation, we disseminated the work we’re doing to embed evidence-based practices into engaging game formats. We showcased how our cross-functional teams are pushing boundaries by applying existing techniques in new areas, challenging traditional assumptions in the field. Attendees were particularly interested in how our games are designed to meet the specific needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, enhancing interventions and empowering clinicians.
Simcoach Games at the BATCAGE Conference
Continuing our mission to innovate, we also presented at the Behavior Analysis and Technology Conference on Gaming and Education (BATCAGE). Our accepted proposal allowed us to share insights on how gamification can revolutionize behavioral health services. Professionals in the industry recognized our efforts to find new ways to engage clients at both the parent and child levels.
At the conference, we highlighted early data collection and results from our games in practice with clients. The preliminary findings demonstrate promising outcomes, such as increased engagement, improved decision-making, and positive behavioral changes. We emphasized how our games provide unique data critical to an outcomes-based approach, enabling us to develop models that track progress, personalize care, and optimize efficacy.
Pushing Boundaries and Challenging Assumptions
Both presentations underscored our commitment to innovation. By integrating interactive gaming technology with evidence-based practices, we’re exploring uncharted territories in behavioral health interventions. Our work challenges traditional methods by offering immersive, data-driven solutions that not only entertain but also facilitate measurable improvements in clients’ lives.
Empowering Clinicians and Producing Better Outcomes
A key focus of our presentations was how our games empower clinicians. By providing tools rooted in evidence-based practices, we’re enhancing their ability to deliver personalized care. Clinicians gain access to actionable insights through game-generated data, allowing for more effective interventions and ultimately producing better outcomes for clients.
Looking Ahead
We’re honored that our work has been recognized and accepted by esteemed professionals at these national conferences. This acknowledgment reinforces our dedication to making a meaningful impact in the field of behavioral health through innovative gaming solutions.
We look forward to continuing our collaborations, sharing our findings, and, most importantly, making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
